Default Airbag Removal

Hi All,

How exactly does one go about removing the drivers airbag? I dont see screws in the holes on the back of the bag and from pics Ive seen around online, it looks to just push in place. Ive been prying at this thing for hours and Id like to know what Im doing wrong.

If you pry on it you will bend the metal clip that holds the bag on. That can make it way more difficult to remove. There is a hole on the back side of the steering wheel, put a small screwdriver in it and push on the clip. The bag should pop off. If not you have damaged the clip and will probably have to pry the bag off and replace the steering wheel and air bag.
