Default Front tires

I have a 2005 titan king cab 2wd. I had the judder problem with my front brakes at around 7000 miles. Took it in and they did the whole change over thing, new rear brakes, installed new rotors and brakes on the front and new brake pads on the rear. Now at 50,000 miles I need to change my brake pads on the front of the truck, which I can do, but I tried taking the front wheels off and I can not for the life of me get them off. I've never had a flat tire in the front tires, but had a flat on the rear tire, had no problem taking the tire off. Talked to the Nissan dealer service department and they said that the rim is machined onto the rotor hub. I have been a truck owner for over 25 years and have never heard of such a thing. This means if I get a flat tire in the middle of no where I can't change my tire? If any one else has had this problem, or any solutions please advise. basementboy6757

Until a Specialist replies...Say what? Hey, I want the same stuff your Nissan Dealer is smoking!

It sounds like they improperly tightened your wheel nuts.

The dealer is full of BS. No such animal on this planet. Get a 2 foot piece of 3/4" pipe and slide it over the end of your lug wrench - make sure you hold it tight on the lug nut and ease those puppies loose using the end of the pipe - after you jack it up of course. If you rip a lug-bolt off on the first one, STOP and get it to the dealer to perform the surgury.

I did get a flat once on the front and used the jack to get the tire off the ground but found out the jack didn't have the height necessary, when fully extended, to get the tire off the ground. I carry a piece of 6x6 pressure treated wood to put my jack on just in case.
