Exclamation 08 ABS,brake,slip,SES,no speedometer,odometer and cruise control

The codes it has are: c1142 c1708 c1711 c1727 c1729 p0500 p1212 p1574 u1001 u1000. Dealer techs are lost. They've had it 3 different times. over $1000 thrown at it already. Did replace brake pressure sensors. Brake job and resurfaced front rotors.brake job occured 3 weeks prior to all the warnings. Had a bad shake when brakes applied slowly approaching a stop. I could use some expert help.

Is the tail pipe broke off ? If it is check the harness along the frame near the right rear shock to see if it is melted.

Tailpipe is a ok. Techs are supposed to have checked all wiring for cracks melts cuts and such. I am disabled and cannot do it. They were paid for it though.

I would check the C1 connector. It is located just behind the frt pass wheel mounted on the chassis. Make sure it can come apart and no water or corrosion. Sounds like harness problem. Check all fuses as wheel.

C1, wiring and fuses all good. The harness looks ok
The pedal is strong and brakes easily. I don't want to cause any issue with the transmission or the rest of power train. Codes still present. The dealer is using a 32 year old diagnostic machine. They say it's ok to drive will not cause any damage. I'm not very confident in their opinion.

streamcast, Finally have some cool weather. and today no warning lights on dash. Until tranny fluid gets warmed up. Its not hot by gauge. When it gets about 1/8" from the cold mark is when the warnings come up. Its normal is at 1/4 of the entire gauge. Is the a sensor inside tranny? John

Still have no solution. Have even replaced battery. Can this be a IPDM issue?

I still think it is an electrical issue. Either another component or wiring. Do you have any drivability issue in regards to 4 by 4 rear differential

Dealer has had truck 7 times. They are lost! I ended up at the mienekie shop. They found a issue with battery holding enough amps. This they found in less than an hour. Bought HD battery and everything gone but p0500. Can it be cleared without going to stealership? I'll have to drive 85 miles one way. Cause Bob Giles Nissan will never touch it again. They are a scam! Wasted over $1000 and all that time.

You can buy an OBDII scanner for under $50. online that retrieve trouble codes, erase trouble codes (preferrable), freeze frame, pending code, and in my case has I/M monitors, and live data such as rpm, engine load, O2 sensor output, intake air temp. and intake volume, throttle % open, fuel system. I got it via auction on ebay for $48. You use it once will pay for itself in terms of time, travel to and fro to your mechanic shop for emissions and engine management diagnostics.

For now disconnect the negative batt. cable for at least 20 min. and should erase the code but will not cure the problem. If P0500 comes back, check the link below.

Default multiple codes

very unusual.doesnt sound like battery problem, more like ground issue if anything.p0500 is stored in ecm and is not erased by just disconnecting battery for 15 minutes. lets see how long incident is resolved.how long since new battery installed?would like to know.hope this as the solution to your dilemma

Unusual to be a Battery problem, if battery was bad to turn of these electrial system than engine would not crank unless power supply was an issue at fuse box. Saying that these vehicles did have issues with the IPDM ER,did any codes return.
