Angry "Squeaky brakes" after brake change and rotors turned?

Ok this is my delema.
First, I removed my brakes for a quick change. Well low and behold the rotors needed turned ( resurface).

I turned the rotors and reassembled with new pads from NAPA, Safety-Stop is the name brand. And yes they are ceramic, which make alot of brake dust.

Oh I forgot to mention that I applied the orange colored- stop squeak- NAPA Brand, onto my pad shims., that does not working, so it seems.

i can not get the damn brakes to stop squeaking, i lubes the pad retaining clips as required. torqued as required. I have done alot of work and tried everything.....any suggeestions?

Can someone help?

First of all, you are using ceramic pads, if you do not use grooved rotors with these pads you will for ever in a day have brake squeal. Here where I am to this is very common, and the procedure I use to perform brake work seems to be working out just fine. The key is to make sure all rust and debris is clean off the pad brackets and under the brackets and lube the brackets under and over. Than apply anti brake squeal to the back side of the pads. You should be ok. But in your case replace with OEM parts,if not you will have problems. Most nissan owners use aftermarket brakes because of the cost, but have so many headaches.

Doesn't matter what they are made of. They don't squeek.

Here is my repair info: R1 concepts cross drilled / slotted rotors, Duralast ceramic pads, clean and lube guides etc. Ceramic pads don't dust. My wheels stay clean, brake temp reduced about 20 degrees here in Vegas summer. Significant improvement for about $225 total.

My experiences with cermaic's are not good. Less braking power and more dust. Switched back to OEM, and will always stay with OEM, even if they cost more. Better quality.

Unless you are willing to spend the really big bucks for the best of the best rotors with matched pads stay with the OEM's.With all the problems nissan had with the Titan front brakes the method of turning of the rotors is critical and should be done on the vehicle by a trained nissan tech.

R1 concepts rotors are about $20.00 more than stock rotors and they are shipped to your door in 3 days.
