Default 07 Titan Anti-freeze smell

New here! Any one have this problem?

I can smell a strong antifreeze like smell coming from the ac/heater vents. I have had it in service twice and they cant find any leaks.

Replaced cabin filters and still no help.

It will be the third time in the shop tomorrow for the same problem they cant find.

It doesnt happen all the time and of course they said they have not smelled it. They tell me its probably an engine coating they use to ship across the ocean so it dont rust. They also said it will take up to 10,000 miles to burn it off.

Started at about 1000 mi, there is now 6,000+ and still random smell.

My wife has been pregnant through all this and refuses to ride with me when it happens because it makes her sick to her stomach...a little morning sickness trigger I guess.

Until a Specialist replies...I found a number of Titan owners with the same problem. Take a look at this link: antifreeze smell? - Nissan Titan Forums

Hope this helps...
