ses/limp mode
I have a 2002 Sentra Spec V. Friday morning the SES light came on and the car went into limp mode. The codes were P0605 pcm read only memory error, P0102 maf/vaf circuit low input, P1102 maf sensor circuit and P0113 IAT sensor 1 circuit high input. I replaced the MAF because that seemed to be what the codes pointed to. I disconnected the battery and set the positive cable on a engine ground. I installed the new MAF and the car started right up and ran fine with no ses light. I drove the car around the block a couple of different times and thought everything was fixed. I drove the car to work today (about thirty miles) and it did the same thing as I pulled into the lot. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I agree with you, the MAF sensor should have taken care of the problem. I suggest checking for codes again and make sure the MAF connector is firmly secured.

Thanks,
I disconnected and reconnected the battery again. It started up fine but still had the ses light on. I drove it about half a mile and it went into limp mode again. It's in the shop right now to see what the codes are this time. Bob |

I just heard from the mechanic and he says the only code that showed this time was the ecm/ecm harness code. Looks like I need an ecm. Crap!
