is it possible to clean out an EGR solenoid?
I have a 94 Sentra, and the EGR/carbon canister control solenoid has sludge in it, from sucking it from the throttle body. Is it possible to clean it out, or do I just get another one?

You can try a good carbon cleaner and see how that works,however,if it's gerlly carboned up i would just replace it to be on the safe side. The pental valve is very small and it don't take much to hang one open.
