Default Automatic Trans Longevity

Hi all I have a 96 sentra that has an auto trans and the car has almost 200k on it. I am very currious to know if this trans is very robust or in need of a rebuild at this milage? I have know history oin the Vehical other than when I bought it it had a lot of oil leaks but the trans was tight. I serviced it and found the fluid to be worn but not burnt. There was the usual fuzz on the magnets but I must say it was one of the cleanest pans i have ever had down! And the best part about it is I did not have to take a bath!! Lol!!

Considering you got 200,000 miles with the same transmission - YES, it must be robust!:)

I believe that any trans can be when treated well. What I am getting at is what would you say that they are good for miles wise even when treated well??
