Default Help! 2005 sentra 1.8s brake thumping sound

My daughter has a 2005 sentra. It started to develope a thumping sound when applying the brakes shortly before her 17,500 service. The dealer turned the drums and the sound went away for about a month. Then it returned. The dealer replaced the rear drums. That has lasted for 2 weeks now and IT'S BACK! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default brake thumping

I am surprised to hear that the dealer cut drums on your sentra, it is possible that they have the rear brakes adjusted too tight. Can you feel the thumping in the steering wheel , the seat, the brake pedal? In the northeast where salt is used on the roads we see alot of sentras come in with the backside of the front brake rotors rotted pretty bad. This can cause a thumping or brake pulse. This is usually felt in the steering wheel. I have seen this on cars with less than 5000 miles on them.
