"ICY" next to display of temperature
I've looked in my owner manual, but can't find any mention of this. On my display panel, it shows "ICY" just to the right of the outside temperature. What does this stand for? Can't mean "icy" as in weather conditions.

It is to let you know that the temperature is low enough for it to be icy outside.

I knew that the car couldn't sense ice on the pavement, so I was sure it wouldn't be referring to "icy." But with the temperatures we've had, it could possibly be icy had water been on the roads as well.
Did you find that bit of information in the owner's manual, or do you "just know" that? |
