1998 SE Driver Power Window Broke - Help!

Window was acting up for awhile...I tried avoiding using it but it got difficult. I had to push hard on the button to get it to go up....yesterday the button snapped off - fiddled with the control underneath...it won't go up at all now. Take it to dealer? Get new Window Control? How much $ am I looking at?

I'm not totally sure what the problem is other than the window is stuck and will not go up.

If your vehicle is still under warranty, that would help. If not, take it to the dealer anyway and be prepared for a few hundred bucks min. If not, try taking it to a local mechanic that specializes in import vehicles. You might get a better deal. Dealerships tend to charge more for labor and parts.
