Red face Dash cleaning

Hi, I'm a newbie, newbie!! and maybe to much little concern about "the look" of my new sentra 2.5 sl 2007 (:innocent:I don't even know if this is the model) but I've notice a "spot" in the "dash board" ,it looks like some kind of glue gum residue maybe from a label from the dealer were I bought the car and I want some advise on what to use to clean it out, I've already use soap and water like the manual says but not works and they don't mention any other alternative (my manual is in Spanish cause I'm from Puerto Rico,USA) Soooo, if somebody can gimme a crash course in cleaning cars I be grateful. Thanks, Maggie

It is probably a good idea to make the dealership correct the issue. If you try to clean it with something and damage the panel they probably will want tmake you pay for it. If they damage it while cleaning it then they will have to fix it.

Rubbing alcohol should take it up without damaging the vinyl.
