Default 98 Left tail light goes off when braking

hey Ya'll. My left tail light goes off when i brake. Its fine when not braking though. Ive changed the bulb but i didnt do anything. Has anyone had this problem and if so how can i fix it? Thanks

Make sure you have the correct bulb installed.

I agree with mpe235, a bulb with the wrong wattage will give you that kind of symptom.

It also could be a 'short' in the wiring. Make sure all the electrical wires are properly secured. I had this issue on my Altima.

check the ground wire of the harness it might be corroded just sand the terminal and it will be ok
