Default Help!

About a month ago I couldn't start my 2003 Nissan Sentra XE. I took it to a non-dealership repair person who replaced the cam shaft sensor, another sensor and the ECM. After driving it the two to three hours to get everything back on, the check engine light came on, it had been on when I initially had the car fixed. So I had it tested and the codes, which I don't have in front of me right now, there were two, both indicated the O2 sensor needed to be replaced. Fine. I took it to my local Aamco, only because my cousin knows the guy, and they replaced the )2 sensor, because that's what the codes said to do. I get it back, drive it around for the 2-3 hours, and the light comes back on again. After testing, the codes were the same codes indicating that the O2 sensor needed replacing. So I took it back to the Aamco, the guy did about 2-3 hours worth of diagnostic work and came back and told me that the ECM was (searching?) for two pins, now those two pins didn't have any wires connected to them. So, the O2 sensor is good, wiring too, but the ECM is looking in the wrong place for those wires. I am a bit frustrated, and broke, and wanted to get an idea of what could be wrong. Did the original place order the wrong ECM? Did they wire it wrong maybe? I don't know.

Sounds like this guy has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. It's not possible for the ecm to look in a different location. What did he use for replacement sensors? Were they cut and splice in or did they have a connector that plugged in directly to the factory connector?
