2007 Nissan Sentra power window controls not working
Hello,
I own a 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S and my power window controls have just stopped working. The power lock control on the driver's side door is also non-functioning. The power lock control on the passenger side works intermittently. I am hoping the problem is a fuse but am having a hard time determining which fuse might need to be replaced. I have already replaced the 50A fuse in the engine compartment labeled with "PWR WDW" but that did not solve my issue. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks much! |

If the main window switch on the drivers side is not working, the you should start by inspecting the switch connector. If the connector is OK, then you may have to replace the main window switch.

follow up
So I finally removed the window/lock control panel from the driver's side door and found that one of the connector pins coming from the circuit board has some type of corrosion/burn on it. I attempted to clean the connector pin with some alcohol and was able to remove some but not all of it. After reassembling my windows and locks are unfortunately still not working.
Is it possible this corrosion/burn interrupting a connection could cause the problem I am having? I would think if it's a burn maybe the circuit board itself is dead and would need to be replaced. Does anyone have any more information that might be of help? Thank you |

You can pick up a brand new window switch fairly cheap and comes with a lifetime warranty.
