1999 Nissan Sentra Fan issue
All,
My radiator fan and adjacent condenser fan are not blowing. In stop-and-go traffic the engine heats up and the A/C blows warm until I can go highway speeds. Initially I was thinking a bad Coolant Temp Sensor. However, this would not take into consideration that the A/C condenser fan also. I am thinking that this may be an issue with a bad relay as this seems to be the common point between the two. Can someone verify my line of logic? I am thinking that both of these fans are connected electrically through the relay. Thanks in advance for any enlightenment! Dave |

1999 Sentra fan issue
I have the same issue with my 99 Sentra. Do I check the "Rad1" relay switch? And how do I check it?

Just as a side note, I would make sure that the radiator fan spins freely when the car is off. I had one lock up and stop spinning.
