Bought this item almost 2 years ago when my, now former, mechanic misdiagnosed a dead battery and I got stuck with a $430 part that Nissan wouldn't take back as is their policy on electrical parts. The unit was plugged in to a car with a dead battery so the unit has never been "used" and was then placed back into the box and put on a shelf in my garage. I have posted pictures of the unit and original invoice. I also have a copy of the invoice from Nissan service department showing that they correctly diagnosed and replaced the battery a few days later, but I didn't post that. Will provide upon request.

We recently replaced the engine in our 02 Altima and now having problems with the IPDM Module. Does the IPDM have to be removed when the engine is replaced?

Lift up the ipdm. Unplug the connectors and then reconnect them.
