The factory recommend just regular 5W-30, but you can use synthetic as well. Depending on the dealer, they may use 5W-30 or 5W-20. Check you las receipt or lube sticker to find out what type of oil they are using.

We use synthetic blend 5w30. We can buy it cheaper than regular 5w30.

No it will not harm the engine. Both oils are compatible with each other.
