Default Tire size

There is a good deal on tires which should be 215-60R/16. Canadain Tire does not have that size in this one tire, but has 215-65R/16's. I want to know if they will be fine or not. Will this wreck my warranty?

Thanks Paul

I haven't tried to installed that size on a Rogue, but is a small difference and it should fit. The tire shop should also be able to tell you if the tires fits as well.

Many Thanks, Nissan Tech
I was able to change the tires with very little cost to me, so I did to be sure. In the future, I will be more daring. It's just that i don't understand this CV transmission yet.

speedometer will show ~4 km/h more than actual speed. your acceleration will be better but top speed will be slightly lower.

Red face tire size.

"your acceleration will be better but top speed will be slightly lower" KLL Please explain - How will the width of the tire make any difference here?

am i confusing? when i read situation again, i asked this to myself once more when you ask.

stock size is 215/60/16 but dealer has 215/65/16 right? 215 is same so width is same.
if this is situation tire thickness will be more because that 65 is the percentage of tire width( percentage of 215). so if diameter is bigger because of tire thickness, acceleration will be worse but top speed will be more

215/60 has 12.9cm thickness
215/65 has 14.0cm thickness so diameter is more.

for comparison purposes
Tire size calculator

here is basic tire info related to numbers

i own a xtrail, i have 215/70/16 tires but stock is 65. my acceleration worse than 65s. car is higher that 65s.
