Lightbulb Upgrading Sound System on the Rogue.

i was looking to upgrade my sound system on my 2009 Nissan Rogue SL AWD. i didn't get the Bose package, because it wasnt that great... i was looking to upgrade it with different speakers, but i was hoping to keep my deck the same (because it suits the car...)

1. What good speakers would you recommend for a reasonable price? (havent decided how much i wanted to spend on speakers)

2. Would it affect my warranty at all with Nissan if i have an aftermarket speaker system?

3. Would i have to get a amp for more powerful speakers? (do nissan put amps in the car?)

4. Should i take it to the shop, or do it myself? (how difficult is it to get this job done?)

5. The speakers at the front (where the front windshield is) there are 2 speakers. they seem very special and the size is unique. what would i have to get for those?

if someone who knows a lot about car audio can help me out, that would be amazing.

In the past I tried to upgrade the factory system with diff speakers and always ended up putting them back. I think the factory system works better with stock speakers.

As far as the Bose system, I got the SL w/ all the packages incluided and I love the sound. IMO, the radio sounds better than my 323i BMW I traded in for the Rogue. It comes with the speed sensor built in and the bluetooh works perfect.

If you don't like your system, checkout diff radios and then you can try diff speaker.
Anyhow, that is just my opinion and I am no expert but I love music and I trust my ears.

Let us know what you'll do.

Guys, I have a slightly different issue concerning the handsfree. The current system does not support uploading the address book from any phone. Are there any upgrades possible?

Thanks
Rakesh G.

Don't like the Bose setup??? I can almost promise you won't get a better system in there without spending an arm and a leg.

It pounds for a stock setup in my opinion
