Default 2008 Rogue 21000 miles now - what is the recommended maintenance I should do

Dealer asking $150 ?
Is it standard? I haven't done anything, other than changing oil at the dealership so far.

Thanks
Shaw

In cabin microfilter. Rotate and balance tires. Air filter.
May also want to consider an alignment.

Thank you mpe235. I went to Nissan website and it says to Lubricate propeller shaft (4wd) in addition to the two items you mentioned [ replace incabin micro filter and rotate tires]

Is it necessary for a Rogue AWD ?

Also they talk about inspecting a whole bunch of items - is there a maintenance manual that will show me how to inspect these items ??

inspect:
transmission fluid
axle and suspension parts
brake lines and cables
cruise control and vacumm hoses
differential oil
drive shaft boots
free running hub grease
front wheel bearing grease
steering gear and linkage
steering linkage ball joints
transfer case oil
front suspension ball joints

Thanks
Shaw

The rogue doesn't have a grease fitting on the drive shaft so there is no need for that. As far as the rest it's really just visual inspections. You can jack up the front end and wiggle each wheel to make sure the front end is tight. Pull the dipstick for the transmission and check the fluid level. Make sure there is antifreeze in the resevoir for the cooling system. I wouldn't try to check the tranfer case oil, just look for any signs of leaks around the case. If you don't see any leaks then the fluid level should be ok.

Thanks again. Is maintenance manual on dvd/cd expensive ? Do you think it is a good idea to have one. I intend to drive this car at least 250,000 miles like I did my previous Toyota (bought new in 2000 Jan and sold in 2008 November). Rogue purchased new in 2008 November and already has 20,000 miles on it.
