Default 04 Quest shake at high speed

hello. I have a 04 Quest SL. with 16' alloy wrapped in brand new Michelin tires about 4k miles now. No curb rash on the wheels. Van has 101k miles, no accident. Got couple alignment and few balance done. The shaking is both before after the new tires put on.

The van shakes at speed of 60+ at highway. Not only the steering wheels, the whole car shakes at high speed. Sometime it shakes in patterns, like shake a few seconds, kinda stop for couple seconds and shake again. Especially the two middle seats.

At first, I thought it was balance, took to 3 different Firestone and 3 different Wal-Mart. Couple time it's smooth for the first 100 miles, then back to shake. I have very good experience with my Maxima, even the wheels have bad rash. I even tried different set of wheels and tires, and still got the shake.

I drive 30 miles one way to work, and it really bother me with the shakes.

I was thinking of saving $$ and get the road-force balance.

Could it be bushing?

thanks.

Could possibly be caused by a bad cv shaft. I have seen a few that had right side inner joints coming apart.

Rotors, rotors, and more rotors... The quest in question (had to do that) is a rotor issue. Been there and done that more times than i care to remember. Forget about trying to turn them and just buy a new set with new pads and hardware.

rotors? all 4? I just had them turned and installed all 4 by me couple months ago. Braking is very smooth, and quiet at high speed. So, all 4 rotors? can I go with Brembo blank? if yes, what size are they? thanks.

Thanks. I had Brembo blanks on my 00 Max through maxima.org, to fix my warped rotors issue. But did not gain any stopping power over the oem.

Turning the rotors may take the warpage out but does nothing about runout or ballance of the rotors. No, you need to replace only the front. To verify the problem drive the vehicle to the point at which the car would begin to shake but not to the point it does. Very gently touch the brake petal to try to get the vehicle to start to shake.Do this very gently and in a stright line.If you can produce the shake to any degree and feel it in the steering wheel the it's the rotors.

turned out rotors are fine.

Just found that the two front shocks are leaking. Could that be the problem with the shake at highway speed (60+)?
