2008 Quest fan stays on and won't shut off!
My 2008 Nissan Quest SE climate control fan won't shut off. It runs only on high speed. When I hit the off button on my control panel, it shifts to floor vents and still keeps running. Help!

I just started having the same problem on my 08
On this site they say it is the Motor Blower Resister.
2008 Quest Fan Motor stuck on high speed | Nissan Quest Forum Community Can a tech verify the part and get us the correct part to order (Nissan part number and generic part number)? Thanks in advance, Kevin |

Also, where is the blower motor resistor located? I have the glove box off (good time to change the cabin air filter) but am not sure where to look for the part yet. Please help me locate this part. One site mentioned that it is located on the back left by the firewall from your glove box but I am not sure where to be looking.
Thanks for any help. Last edited by rhymemaze; 08-08-2011 at 07:02 AM. Reason: deleted pics |

maybe its the resistor or vbc
Check the blower motor resistor. Just replaced vbc/resistor my '09 Quest. It's located under glove box. Before you replace it, try unplugging it & plug it back in-like resetting it.

It is the VBC it is located either behind the glove box or behind it it probably has 3 wires coming from it and it is silver with a plastic cover for the terminals.
