For those of you who are thinking about adding a trailer hitch and wiring, you must purchase a special converter for the electrical wiring.
I used one made by DrawTite, Inc. You will need their Modulite # 18146 which can be purchased directly from them for $33.60 and may be purchased directly on their web-site. DrawTite-Hitches.com and use the link for Modulite. Also available from Browns Of Two Rivers, Inc. 1-800-558-7750. Their price is $27.06 on the web-site else $29.23 by calling. If you order from web-site just type "Drawtite" in the search engine. index You must remove the driver's side side-panel in order to connect to the internal power wire. See my posted instuctions for removing the side panel. Last edited by beechmc; 03-21-2007 at 06:53 AM. Reason: Additional Sources |
