Smile Nissan Quest Tire Tip - HOT!!!!

Quest owners with 16" rims do not have to replace the OEM Goodyears with the same anymore. I found a replacement option that is superior to the OEM Goodyears. I just put new Yokohama AVID TRZ 225-65-R16's on my 2004 Quest for $500. These are great tires, do the research yourself. I got a great tire, for a great deal, without having to mess with changing tire sizes...

your welcome.....

Default TRZ tires

I just bought a used 2001. It had some firestone tires on it but they had some dry rot between the tread even though there was tons of tread left, I don't like dry rot, at all. So I ordered 4 of these based on your recommendation and the consumer reviews I've read. I got 4 215/65/16 (that's what my manual shows for the 2001) for $276. GREAT deal if you ask me.

These are the best tires I have come across so far. I have had these on for approx 2 years now and the tires still look like new. I have put on about 25k miles on them. I bought some 20 inch rims for the van but don't want to put them on till these tires are worn. To my dismay I'll have to keep the rims in storage for another year again....

we also changed to the yokos about 15,000 miles as the goodyears wore out im on my 2nd set and they are a wonderful tire. did run into one issue of a tire belt break in one tire about 20,000 miles in otherwise we get at least 50,000 miles plus out of these

I put Michelin Primacy MVX4 on my 2004 Quest about 27 months ago. Love them! The tread is about 6/32.

Hello to all

Newbie checking in. I just put a pair of Hankook Optimo H418"s on my 07 and so far very pleased with them. They replaced the stock GY's that were on the rear and had about 62 K on them.

I'm also running a pair of the Yoko Avid TRZ's with about 22K on them. The TRZ's show little wear and have held up well so far. I found the TRZ's to be a bit noisy so moved them to the rear and put the Hankook's up front as they are much quieter than the YOKO's.

h418 are pretty bad in heavy rain and snow imo..I have sold alot of them in the past and they all seem to return with complains. the trz's are better suited for deep snow and rain

Agreed. I noticed that in reviews for the Hankook's. I'm in the desert southwest where we have almost no heavy rains and thankfully no snow so I can get by with them.

Cmont - watch the wear on the Hankook. I had to replace mine after about 25k miles on my 2004 Quest. The wear was pretty even on all tires. I was pretty disappointed with these tires. I put Michelin Primacy on and after 2-1/2 years, I still have 6/32

Default 2007 Quest Tire Replacement

I'm currently on my second set of Michelin Primacy. Ride quality and wet weather traction has been very good with these tires. TPMS does seem to work as well. These are sold at Costco and Discount Tire locations.

You're right, The stock GY Eagle LS's were not very good.
After a botched set of GY Assurance Fuel Max's, I got GY to prorate me to the newer Assurance Comfortred Touring's and there a vast improvement.
I also put a set of those Michelin Primacy MXV4's on another car of mine and they are superb, Frankly I would have put them on my VillaQuest if not for getting a prorated "adjustment" on a new set of GY's.
