Default 2007 quest loose hose problem

i have a problem wwith my quest (43k miles), Im having a poor performance with my engine/ the engine is struggling to go past 60mph.

i checked under the hood and found there's a loose hose "TN 6904" (near the fuse box/transmisiion dipstick) and i dont know where to connect it or was it supposed to be connected at all? I dont know if it is related to the struggling performance of the van..

thanks for the help...

Do you have a picture of the connector?

Have you done any repair lately to your Quest? when was the last time you had a service done? Have you checked for codes?

My suggestion is to start by checking for codes, some auto parts store or independent shops would that free for you. If there are no codes, you should service your Quest, if you haven't done so.

went to the dealer yesterday, they said that the hose is for the "airing out" of the transmission. im not really convinced though... ill try to go to diff shop. i think i have a bigger problem now because of the noise vibration and harshness prob..

also, i have pictures of it but i dont know how to post it here.
