Leaf 2011 Inner Tie Rod

1 Attachment(s)
I have taken a slight knock on a kerbstone at low speed which has bent
the inner tie rod on the passenger side. After conatacting my local Nissan dealer it appear Nissan only supplies the whole assembly at at a cost of
£1600. It's crazy, since a I only need the inner tie rod which on other models
appears to be about £20 + fitting. Does any one have any experience of replacing the inner tie rods, and do they know of a compatible model, A lot of these rods are very similar so there must be a match somewhere.

Try search on eBay. I got mine inner/outer both sides new for $45. It was for 2001 Maxima same parts. I'm not sure what Leaf share the same platform or chassis may be Versa but try search anyway. Be sure to have an alignment after the job.

There is no compatible model to the Leaf as far as I know. Only the outer tie rods are serviceable. I'm not sure what's available where you are at, but, in the USA, we can get a remanufactured rack and pinion assembly for the leaf for $180 US +shipping and a core charge of $100 US from RockAuto. The part is remanufactured by Atlantic Automotive Engineering (AAE) and the part is #4456.
