2000 Altima - Vibration While Accelerating

Looking for any ideas on what might cause the following problem.

In the range of 15- 30 MPH, durring a hard acceleration, the vehicle experiences a significant shaking vibration (which feels like its comming from the front end of the car). The vibration does not occur durring an easy acceleration. When the vibration occurs, the steering wheel does not vibrate at all. To rule out the engine mounts, put the car in park, and reved up the engine briefley several times, and saw/felt no vibration. Shifting is normal throughout all cars, and there is no vibration any other time.

Thanks.

The same thing with mine only during acceleration I felt engine hitting the firewall led me to believe the rear engine mount. In reality it was the passenger side mount. You can inspect it with a long large flat screw driver and insert between the mount and bracket of top mounting bolt and sort of pry it out.
