vdc problem
the vdc of my 2004 nissan armada is alway off, even if you try to turn on
|
I suggest checking the VDC system for codes to properly diagnose the problem, since there are many items that can trigger that warning light. There are no bulletins for the VDC light for the 2004 Armada.

i took it to a good year because it has the check engine light in on.the mecanic detected to problem, code po335 and po 0057 and fixed,so i drove to my house and parked the vehicle.after an :no:hour i went to turn the vehicle on and the light vdc off and check enginecame back again.what it could be?

if u have autozonr or advance auto u can have the car scanned for free, i would see which codes u get if its the same codes, obviously that shop didnt fix it but rather just cleared the codes, then post back and we will try to help you. u can download the engine control section of the service manual which will tell u more info on the codes.
look up codes here Nissan OBDII Code Chart P0000-P0175 and then check out the engine control section here http://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/Knowl...html?catid=134 |
:no:THANKS A LOT FOR THE ANSWER YOU GAVE ME.
THE REAL HISTORY IS THAT I BOUGHT A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA THAT PREVIEWLY WAS ON AN ACCIDENT,BUT IT WAS ONLY THE BUMPER,THERE IS NOT VISUAL DAMAGE ON THE ENGINE. ALSO THE CAR CAME WITH MANY LIGHT ON LIKE: CHECK ENGINE,SLIP,AIR BAG FLASHING LIGHT,VDC OFF. WHEN I STAR TO DRIVE THE CAR,IT LOOK LIKE THE CAR DO NOT WANT TO STAR BUT IT DOES,SO I DECIDE TO TAKE IT TO AUTOZONE FOR A FREE SCAN.THE GUY SAID THAT IT WAS;PO 335 AND PO 057,AND THEN I TOOK IT TO LOCAL GOOD YEAR AND THEY TOLD ME THE SAME,SO I DECIDED FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THEN(GOOD YEAR). THEY SAID THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM,SO I WHEN TO GET MY CAR BACK,BUT WHEN I STAR THE CAR,ALL THE SAME LIGHT CAME BACK AGAIN. ONE OF THE MECANIC IN TRYING TO HELP ME AND TOOK THE CAR TO MARRONE NISSAN IN MIAMI. NOW THE CAR HAS 5 DAY IN MARRONE NISSAN AND THEY HAVENT FOUND THE REAL PROBLEM |
I suspect there was more damage done than you may have been lead to believe.Possible damage to wire harnesses and such.Wheel speed sensors play a big part in the function of the VDC system.
