94 door locks

My 94 pathfinder has auto door locks and I don't have a remote for them.
Will an after market remote work? Using the door locks manually sometimes the locks have a mind of there own. Especially if the passenger side is locked when riding down the road.

I don't know if aftermarket will work but you can pick up a remote from Autozone. As far as the locks working whenever I have the same problem. I think it may be a lubrication problem or the actuators are worn out. When I get around to messing with them i will let you know.

yeah, could be the actuator, could be a connection.. there are a couple of other things that it could be but those escape my mind right now.

Do you have an aftermarket radio installed in your pathy? Ive' seen some that caused this problem.

nah, 93-94-95 have a built-in lock ghost regardless of aftermarket radio, alarm or remote starter.

but yes, any of those could effect the locks especially if the install was a hack job.
