Default found a loose wire

Hello, i have 1994 pathfinder 2wd i found a loose wire with a busted plug end, it has a orange rubber housing and located near the oil filter was just wondering if any1 knew what it was and how common or easy it is to get another connector piece. or i may be able to super glue this 1

I can't remember the connector, do you have any pictures?

The only orange covered plug that i remember goes to the alternator. I think you mean the oil pressure sending unit connector but i to cant remember.

That's the oil pressure switch wire, it's on the block above the filter.
