License Plate Light Bulb Replacement '01 Pathy
One of the license plate bulbs is burnt out. I need to replace it before I can get it inspected. I live in Rochester, NY where they use lots of salt. The screw heads are so rusty I can not even tell what type of head is on the screw, I think they may have been phillips head. Has anybody else run into this same problem? Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

Until a Specialist replies...You might try spraying some WD-40 onto the screw head and allow one or two minutes for the lubricant to penetrate the corrosive seal. If that doesn't work you can try brushing kerosene on the rusted screw. Either way, that should remove enough of the crud to see what type of screw head is present.

It is a Phillips crew, and before trying to remove the crew, you should do what vpnavy suggested.
