Default 05 pathfinder u1000

I recently replaced my 2005 pathfinder tcm & i still have a no crank issue. Code u1000 is the only code. When i run a jumper wire to the starter signal the car will start fine however it doesnt show p-r-d-3-2-1. It stays blank.

Im stumped at this point. Very stressful. Any tips on what to do?

When you replace the TCM in these vehicles, it has to be initialized using a Consult III scan tool in order for it to communicate with the ECM and operate properly. U1000 is exactly that: a CAN (Controlled Area Network) communication issue, meaning something is not communicating with the ECM (likely your TCM). You may have to tow your vehicle to a Nissan or Infiniti dealer so they can program it.

A dealer will probably charge you an hour of whatever their labor rate is, even though it doesn't take that long. There may be generic scan tools on the market that can do it, but you will have to investigate that. I don't know of any off the top of my head.
