Did you troubleshoot at all, or you just threw parts at it?

What does your security light do when you try to start it, does it stay lite? What codes are you throwing?

1993 is a first generation, WD21 Pathfinder; they didn't have immobilizer systems. I would look at the distributor rotor while the engine is cranked to see if it turns. If it doesn't turn, the timing belt broke. Often they break while the engine is being started, as this is the time that the greatest stress is being put on the teeth of the belt at the crank sprocket. Many times they will just shear off those teeth the the crank sprocket will spin and the belt will do nothing.
