Default trailer lights stopped working

Trailer wiring issue. I have a 2006 Pathfinder. I changed the 4 Pin trailer wiring harness to a 7 pin harness with OEM kit last year. It worked great, then this year I went to hook up the trailer and the turn signals and brake lights will not come on. The running lights and electric brakes work fine. I checked the plug and there is no power to the turn signal connections on the truck side. Is this a fuse or a relay and if so which ones are they?

Start by checking the fuses in the IPDM. See attached image for fuse number and IPDM location.

Default ~ same thing happened on my 05 Pathy

I had somehow shorted the system out when I was changing plugs and there were 2 small fuses up under the dashboard, kind of taped/mounted to the steering column I think. Both were blown, replaced and worked again. Some type of inline fuses to protect the system.

Just found these SOB's, ONE of them blown, and now BOTH SIDES of my my trailer light circuit WORK!!!

Can't find them in my 2005 FSM. Anyone have a more recent copy where their location is noted?

BRAVO, Sir!!!

They are not listed in the manual. The sub harness that the fuses are in as installed as part of a recall to protect the bcm from damage if a trailer with a short circuit was connected to the vehicle. Without those fuses you would have had t replace the bcm.

Default 2006 Pathfinder Trailer Tow Fuses

gab,
I also have a 2006 Pathfinder.
I found the 10Amp mini-fuse under the hood in the large black box on the passenger side.
Removed the box cover and it states "Trailer Tow" which uses a red 10Amp mini-fuse, located on the far bottom-left of the fuse box, I replaced that fuse, and all trailer lights work now.
Had a negative (ground) short on the trailer wiring which blew the fuse.

Hope this helps.

Can anyone help me with the location of these fuses on a 2008 Pathfinder LE . Brake lights and turn signals do not work. Running lights work fine. Could not locate any sub harness under the dash.

Thanks in advance
