Thumbs down Won't start after Idle Control Valve replacement

Here is the history. 2001 Pathfinder started to idle erratically (500-2200 rpm). Replaced Mass Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor. No luck with either. Removed the Idle Control Sensor and cleaned it. Ran better for a moment then stalled. I tried to crank it several times only to smell the dreaded electrical smell coming from under the dash. Purchased new Idle Control Valve assembly and sent the ECU out for repair. Reinstalled both and the car will not start. I have read about the learning procedure for the Idle Control Valve but the engine must be running and warm for this procedure. Any help at this point will be greatly appreciated.

Does the security light stays ON when you are cranking the engine? If it is, then you may have to reprogram the key to the ECU.

If the engine cranks but doesn't start spark and/or fuel is missing, have you checked if there is spark at the plugs and fuel pressure?

Default Still will not start

Keys reprogrammed today, still will not start. Security light would initially go off while cranking and then the light would come on. The tech would reprogram the key. He did this several times before he said he felt that the aftermarket remote start was the culprit. He suggested that I remove the Viper remote start system. As far as the spark goes I do have spark at the plugs. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge but starting fluid in the throttle body had no effect. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Just disconnect the fuel hose to the injector and crank the engine, if fuel comes out, then you have fuel pressure.

If there is a problem with the key the ECM will cut the power to the fuel pressure, so it's somewhat important to find out if there is fuel pressure.
