knocking noise when decelerating and accelerating
Hi everyone.
I need some help trying ti understand the causes of a knocking noise coming from the engine when I'm decelerating and accelerating in low rotation like 1000 rpm. the noise is more noticed when I'm decelerating. Does any one knows the possible answer for this? 2005 Pathfinder Thank you |

Thanks for the reply.
I took it to the dealer about 3 weeks ago to do a pressure test on the radiator since I had some antifreeze showing outside on the top near the cap and the antifreeze reservoir was almost empty. They said the radiator was perfect. Since that the knocking sound started and it seams to be increasing everyday. I look like it comes from the front but I can't precise from witch area of the engine it is. I can only hear it in low speeds and when I start to accelerate the sound fades way. |
