Default Spare Part after Transmission rebuild?

Hello,

The people in this forum seem quite knowledgeable and I was wondering if anyone could identify the part located at the link below.

It was a "Spare" part after a friend did a transmission rebuild. This does not mean its from the transmission or a part that needed to be removed for the repair to take place.

If it helps the pic he took is of it laying on a creeper, as a size comparison.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this,
Lowell

I have found my answer. This part is used in the transfer case for the shift guide. Please see exploded diagram below.

Also I would like to thank the people at npora.ipbhost.com as the are the one who guided me in the right direction at this post. Spare Part after Transmission rebuild? - NPORA Forums
