Default Brake lights not working

Hi all,
I attached a bike rack to the back of my pathfinder yesterday and now none of my brake lights are working. I have changed the fuse over but still no joy. Any ideas?
Thanks

Did bike rack had any electrical connection? The circuit for the stop light is very simple (see attached diagram). If the fuse is OK, then the is either the brake switch or the wire.
