Post 2000 Pathfinder Headlight Bulb Replacement

I'm having trouble changing the headlight bulbs on my 2000 Pathfinder. I've read the instructions in the owners manual; however, the graphic doesn't match the headlamp assembly. There is very little room between the headlamp assembly and the air filter housing on the DVRS or the battery on the NDVRS. Should I need to remove the air filter housing and the battery to replace the headlamp bulb? Does anyone have pictures of this procedure? I've replaced bulbs on several makes and models including my '96 Nissan Maxima with no problems. What am I missing on my Pathfinder?

Unfortunately you have to remove it.

Replacing the bulbs on your Pathfinder its actually not that bad, on some models you have to remove the front bumper, headlight assembly just to access the connector of the bulb.
