I have one great concern. Will Nissan be following Chryslers methodoligy too much when it comes to making trucks. I work in the oil patch, and sometimes I find myself in Rainbow Lake, Alberta. For those of you unfamiliar I recommend you look it up on the internet. Night time lows can reach the mid -40's (without the windchill taken into account). This is where you find out whose trucks are truly tough enough. At night engines are left running so they do not freeze up.
THe most common thing you see are Ford Super duties, but now the Japanese are making inroads including the Titan. You hardly see Chev, GMC or Dodge as they can not take the abuse.
I am worried that Nissan might start adopting the lesser construction and parts of Chrysler which will then lead to a decline in the quality and reliability of the Titan. I am on my second Titan, and it has proven time and time again that it is not just tougher, but alaround better then most 3/4 ton trucks period.
