2006 Nissan murano MPh guage not working

hello i am fixing a wrecked 2006 nissan murano, and i am done with it and the mph guage is not working. i took it to nissan and they told me to change and main hanress under the hood with is like $700 and the computer under the hood with is like $600 they told me this because there is a spliced plug and they said that the harness is bad and also they had a very young guy working on it so i dont think he has much experience. well anyways i got mad because it didnt soud like thats why its doing it. I run a body shop and been in business over 10 years and never had any problems like this. so after messing around with the car for a few days i decided to change the wire harness and computer from another murano i have which is the same year and has no problems, and after doing that nothing changed so that made me even more mad. i have no idea what could be wrong with it but currently the abs light is on i dont know if it has anything to do with it. please help, i would pay for help that can get this fixed.

I think both problems are related. The ABS system needs to know vehicle speed and the gauges also needs the speed.

I suggest to connect a computer and check the code for the ABS system. I bet that if you fix that problem it will also take care of the gauge.

do i have to go to nissan dealer to get and abs checked or where can i do it.
