Default First timer - trying to install Sirius

Hi there, My wife purchased a 2007 Murano S. Came with stock (non-bose) stereo. I checked under the drivers side rear seat and the connector for the satelite was there. So I purchased a tuner from another forum member as well as the antenna. I plugged the white connector into the tuner and ran the antenna. I turned on the radio and nothing was showing up on the display to indicate there was any satelite connection. I tried all the buttons and nothing changed - just am/fm/cd.

Now there is no SAT button on my stock stereo but there is a CAT button.

I was told this would work and I figured because the white connector was there it would.

The guy who sold it to me said that possibly there is a connector behind the stereo that isnt connected to the stereo. Does anyone know if this could be the case? I dont think I can see behind it without pulling it and I would rather not pull the stereo if there is no chance of there being a connector.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Oh and the installation manual on this site is priceless. Thanks so much.

Did you bolt the tuner down? Some of them ground through the case and will not work unless they are bolted to something metal.
