Default Changing transmission fluid

Has anyone changed their own transmission fluid in their Murano. Mine is an '07. I've read the service manual on it, and it doesn't seem that complicated.

No, ENEOS makes the same fluid, but if you use a different brand it will void the warranty.

Why are you changing your oil? How many km is on it? You may not need to change it, bring it to the dealer and have them scan to get a number and see what life is left. I have seen a lot of people change the fluid and need not to,unless there is an issue.

I personally change my cvt fluid at 30,000 mile intervals. The cvt transmissions are VERY expensive to replace. If my transmission has an issue I at least know I could not have prevented it. I think the computer telling you the fluid life is a joke. Unless it could actually sample the fluid it will never be accurate.

I hope that this is the right location for my question? I have a 2002, 4 cylinder 2.5 altima. 105000 km on it. I have had a look under the engine to find the filter on the transmission in the event I wish to change the oil. Can someone please tell me were this is? I have made an attempt to post before. For some reason it would not post. A message came back telling me that I did not have enough columns or something. Can someone please assist me posting. As well as the transmission question?
Thank you in advance
kind regards
mike

i drain and fill my murano's cvt oil each 15000 miles because when i unscrew the cvt bolt only 5 L go down, i know the cvt has about 8L inside but i can't take them out since i do it on my own with the car turned off. so i drain 5l from the bottom and refill with same quantity of new cvt ns2 nissan oil.

everything is going ok till now, i have 105000 miles on the car. is there anyone doing it the same way?

does anyonne know what is the max life span of a cvt

thx
