Is the engine light ON?
If the engine light is not ON, start by checking the fuel pressure. Installed a fuel pressure gauge between the fuel filter and injector rail and monitor the fuel pressure. When the engine is running the pressure should be around 32 psi.

The check engine light has been on for 10 years. I guess I'd better take it in for a check up.

Just recently had the same problem. Stalling would begin when the car reached operating tempature. It too would start right up and stall at the next light. Seemed better on really cold days. Early 1995 Maxima's codes are not read by autozone. I too changed the fuel filter, the radiator temp sensor, air filer, the forward oxygen sensor. I ran thru several fuel cleaners and always put high octane gas. Still stalling. Gave in and took it to a service station ($45), who told me the stalling was due to the MAF sensor. They wanted 350$. I bought it at autozone for $210 (after deposit) and it was a 20 minute job.
Car runs fine now. No more stalling under any circumstances. Note that the MAF sensor is the most expensive of the sensors that might be culpable. I took the path of least cost to most, but ended up with a bunch of sensors I may not have needed. Good luck |
