Default Maxima 2001 purchase advice

Looking to buy used 2001 with 125k at 5k price,I belive it is GXE model.
Any advice at what should I look for,I am alredy familiar with some usual Maxima problems but any obvious ways to tell if something is wrong with a car upfront. My tech is out of town for a week so unble to have him check a car.

I drove this car and drives great,fast..only issue I noticed is shaking and bit of unstability on left while driving on highway, usually around 60mph....I suspect bad alignment but not sure.
Car did make few strange sounds when started but otherwise sounds great.
As far as I can tell drives good for most part, especially in city.

What is most expensive part to replace that commonly fails..like ECM etc?
What can be done to increase stability on highway, different tires etc?
Any good place to purchase spoliers and/or other body kits to make it look bit nicer?...GXE has plain look to it.

Thanx.

P.S.
Which car is more reliable Acura 3.2TL 99 or Maxima 2001?

Oh yeah, and I forgot it does have ABS light on but their tech said it must be dirty brakes or sensors.

Second thing to do is review the 2001 Maxima Recalls: Knowledgebase - 2001 Maxima - Nissanhelp.com

Below is Consumer Reports information.

Hope this helps.

i would definatly have somone check it out take it to a shop and they might charge a fee but i would do it to be sure. if it got some codes autozone or orylies got free scan tools they can scan car for codes for free. abs sensors and brakes stuff gett pretty expensive unless u know some local jusnk yard that have maxima just in case. and if they know the probllem ask them to fix it before u buy it. take it slow and dont rush research to see what other cars are around your area. also the shaking might not be an alighnment issue could be a bent frame or a drive shaft or unbalanced tires. did they give u a carfax?

A good nissan dealership can give you a good going over to check the vehicle out. Things like pending codes .That ABS code for sure. Dirty brakes is not the problem and should be properly checked out! Does this vehicle have a history or any supportive documents to show it's maintance upkeep. Do you home work well. If a maxie is what you seek the are plenty out there. Good luck.
