Torque requirement for oil pan bolts
Anyone know, off hand, what the torque rating is for the oil pan (lower) bolts? Got a 2002 3.5L Maxima with a fresh hole in the oil pan. Any other replacement tips would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance for the help!! |

If I'm reading that correctly, that is the requirement for the "Drain plug." I need torque rating for the actual bolts that hold the lower oil pan. Thanks anyway.

On page EM14 of the Maxima Service Manual it shows 82-94 Ft.Lbs and the tightening sequence. Refer to
Ownership -Service Manual -Maxima 2002 -Engine Mechanical (look for page EM14) I hope that helps. |

After looking a little closer the value you listed is actually in-lbs. not ft-lbs. Thanks for the info.
