Default 2001 maxima oxygen sensor

how do I disconnect the oxygen sensor connector I have P0138 and P0139 the car has 35000 miles and I have to the rear bank 1.

it should just be a simple snap connector, but to remove it from the exhaust manifold you need a special tool. oxygen sensor socket.

that is the problem it is not a snap connector it has a green spring loaded push connector which I have a hard time with....

Slide the green part down and then press it in.

Nissan oxygen sensor cost $230 after market $129 are the Autozone sensor OK to use my car has only 35K?

Where did you get a price of $230.00. They are about $150.00

$200.00 is about right, i would go nissan, but why isn't it under warranty?

The car has 4 o2 sensors. # of them are $140.87 each the other is $166.07.
It's out of warranty because it is a 2001

thanks guys I will try another dealer for the sensor I have reset the error code after how many miles should the service light come back?

Mileage really isn't a factor for the light coming on. The ecm has to see a specific pattern while driving to run the test for the o2. After you have driven long enough to complete that test it would come back on if it sees a problem.
