Question 03 Maxima - P0340 and P0011

03 Maxima - P0340 and P0011 codes

I got the P0011 last month and cleared it, didn't come back .

I just got a P0340 today and stalled once. I have cleared this one - wait and see.

These are both cam sensor codes. Other than cleaning and reconnecting cam sensor plugs /or replacing sensors anything else I should do.

I saw there was a recall on these. How can I verify recall status?

I checked your recall sheet and the VIN is in that range for recall. I'll have to call the local dealer to see what's up. We had bought this used 2 years ago so I don't know if this has been done.

Yes, the only way to know is by calling the dealer. You can search for your nearest Nissan dealer from here: Nissanhelp.com Dealers Reviews

Default all fixed.....

I e-mailed Nissan with Vin # and they said I needed recall #R3022- had not been done.

went to local dealer and did recall - changed both cam sensors and crank sensor.. Running fine now - no codes...

Nissan Vehicle Recall Form

I just filled out the form with VIN and they got back to me within one day. Excellent service. I brought a copy of e-mail with me to local dealer because it had a code number on it (just in case).....
