The P0011 and P0012 are for the Intake valve timing control performance. Sometimes the code is triggered when the engine oil is too dirty. Start by changing the oil and clearing the codes. If the oil is clean and the codes come back the you may have to replaced the valves.

oil was changed 600 700 miles ago... dont know,,,

i took it to nissan dealership, they run a quick check on selenoid and everything they said it seems like everything is working fine, they just cleared the code..
and and they said if it comes back again u might have to bring it back and then we have start taking it apart to find the problem which may cause u alot of money :s .....

I m starting to hate my maxima.. already spent 1500$ on it in repairs and now it looks like another 400 to 1500$ job is waiting on me..

I had the same thing on my 2002 maxima. So I went to Penzoil Synthetic oil and after 3 changes, I've yet to have the problem pop up again. The synthetic will help to clean any crud that may have built up in there... give that a try, 35 is better than 400-1500!
